Patina being applied to
 'Tossing Aloft'

Patina is the process of colorizing a Bronze casting. Here we see a Tallix Crafts person applying two Chemical Solutions; - Copper Nitrate, which will create a blueish green and Ferric Nitrate, will yield a brown tone.  The Gas Torch, LP mixed with Air heats the metal and activates these solutions. A good Patina Artist has to balance the degree of heat and the solution application.
